These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and LeanBean ("LeanBean", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the LeanBean application at leanbean.cc and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1The service
LeanBean turns process descriptions and uploaded documents into Lean process maps, analyses, AI-readiness scores, and improvement recommendations. The Service is provided to help you analyse and improve business processes. We may update, add, or remove features over time.
2Your account
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to be responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, and authorised to accept these Terms on behalf of any organisation you represent.
3Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Free plan. Includes a limited number of saved analyses and core features at no cost.
- Pro plan. A paid subscription, billed through our payment provider (Stripe), unlocking unlimited analyses and additional features. Fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time; your Pro features continue until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
- Changes to pricing. We may change plan pricing with reasonable notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods.
4Your content
You retain all rights to the process descriptions, documents, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you — including sending it to our AI provider to generate your analyses. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it to train AI models. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit Your Content and that it doesn't infringe others' rights or break the law.
5Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate others' rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Upload content that is malicious, infringing, or unlawful.
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our permission.
6AI-generated output
The maps, scores, and recommendations LeanBean produces are generated with the help of AI and are provided for informational and decision-support purposes. They may contain errors or omissions and should be reviewed by a qualified person before you rely on them. LeanBean's output is not professional, legal, financial, or regulatory advice. You're responsible for decisions you make based on the Service.
7Intellectual property
The Service itself — including its software, design, and the LeanBean name and brand — is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't transfer any of our intellectual property to you, other than the limited right to use the Service as intended.
8Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.
9Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service or its output will meet your requirements or be accurate or reliable.
10Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeanBean will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
11Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licence limits, disclaimers, and liability) will survive.
12Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Singapore will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law where you live provides otherwise. Confirm this with your own legal adviser before relying on it.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
